🌿 My Story — The Burnout & The Breakthrough

The last few years have been… a lot. 🫠
Burnout. Hormonal chaos. Iron and B12 deficiencies. Sky-high cortisol. An underactive thyroid.
Add in my partner’s gut issues, heavy metal detox, a severe concussion — and we were deep in the trenches.

Depressed. Disconnected. Disheartened. But not done.

We turned to what we could control:
Our food. Our rhythm. Our rituals. Our connection.

We planted a garden. Made sauerkraut & sourdough by the kilo.
Got curious about what our bodies actually needed. Loads of testing, trialing and finding what worked.
And slowly — steadily — vitality came back. Creativity came back. Joy came back.

That’s what lifestyle medicine looks like.
Not a trend. Not a quick fix.
But a conscious, embodied way of living that brings you back to life.


🌱 Rewilding = Radical Nourishment

I teach a lot of rewilding through creative arts, embodiment practices, deep inner work. But none of it sticks — truly sticks — without looking at how we nourish ourselves.

Are we eating food that supports us?
Are we sourcing ingredients that are real, local, alive?
Are we growing, fermenting, creating from the land we live on or in community with?

A thriving gut biome mirrors a thriving soil biome.
If one is depleted, the other follows.
That’s why I believe food is foundational — it’s where the path to true healing begins.

  • Fast Like a Girl by Dr. Mindy Pelz — a brilliant intro to fasting + hormone health. I found this book so easy to follow and have really adopted this style of fasting. It's easy and tuned into my moon cycle. I feel so much more energy, clarity and focus when I'm doing life like this.
  • Anything by Michael Pollan In Defense of Food, The Omnivore’s Dilemma, This is Your Mind on Plants
    (His Netflix series How to Change Your Mind is also worth a watch! For those interested in this, I'm a huge advocate for plant medicine and am currently training to be a plant medicine facilitator. Feel free to pop through any questions or thoughts you have!)
